Then Mount Maunganui is the place to be! We are seeking for a full-time nightwarden to work at our busy 96-bed hostel in Mount Maunganui! You'll be working evening shifts from 9pm-12am (then on call) with the opportunity to have a job during the day! Starts out at 16 hours a week with the opportunity for more hours if wanted (between reception and/or cleaning shifts). You will be sharing our private nightwarden room with the other nightwarden, you'll have your own ensuite bathroom and acess to the shared staff kitchen. Staff get discounted rate of $217/week. Ideal match for this function is mature, has practice in an authoritative function, and is not afraid of confrontation. You'll be responsible for any late check ins once the office has closed, cleaning the kitchen and communal areas at night, and being the point of contact for any emergencies that may arise during the night. **Please note you MUST have a valid working visa for this job** Requirements: * Start date: beginning of May * Be a team player * Able to commit for at least 2 months (longer the better) * Friendly attitude and great customer service expertise * Must be OK with working weekends and public holidays * Have practice in an authoritative position in order to maintain order about the hostel.
