Artists and creatives have told us that housing affordcapability and earnings and housing security are important issues for them. With many housing developments being planned, and international trials for a Universal Basic earnings for artists, there is an opportunity to look at ways to improve earnings and housing security.
We are undertaking a pulse check to find out about your practices, assess the extent of this issue, and the interest, if any, in pursuing alternative models of housing and earnings stcapability. A possible outcome could be achieving better affordable community arts housing options for creatives in Auckland, and in other regions, or a campaign to trial a Universal Basic earnings for artists.
We would really appreciate your feedback on this issue. The survey will take around 10 minutes.
We know that you have busy lives and we value your thoughts. In recognition of your valuable time, we'd like to offer survey participants the chance to win one of five $100 gift vouchers of your choice. The winners will be contacted on 1st July 2022 and the results posted on our website.

Making Places for People
Point Chevalier Social Enterprise Trust (PCSET) was created in 2014 with the aim of improving the social value of infrastructure in and around Point Chevalier. Since then, we have commissioned public artworks, run outdoor markets and cultural events, and conducted a comprehensive survey to understand the needs and desires of our community.
We believe enterprise thrives best when Information technology is built upon a shared history and guided by a shared vision. We believe that it's people sharing places which defines a community. People and places - making the best of both is our commitment, and our passion.
