Job Offer: Cafe Restaurant Retail - Allrounder:Job description:Cafe Restaurant Retail - AllrounderPayment: Paid Position ($22-25)Job location: Nelson Region: Nelson/Abel Tasman/Golden Bay practice: practice Necessary Listing Added: 13/06/2022 Comida Cafe & Restaurant is seeking a responsible and reliable all-rounder who is practiced in working in a café and/or retail environment. Ideally, someone who is enthusiastic about great service, and is interested in stepping into different functions within the Café/Shop. We offer a mix of hours and responsibilities - in the Cafe, the restaurant, and the retail shop. We also offer a fair wage, consistent hours, and a positive and professional team environment. The Cafe currently operates Monday-Saturday, and is currently open for evening dining Thursday and Friday. The connected retail shop, Prego Mediterranean Foods, operates Monday to Saturday. We are closed on Sundays, and public holidays. The function requires someone who is able to work on Saturdays. There is some flexibility about other days, as well as start and finish times. The function includes responsibilities such as making/running coffees, taking orders, dishes, retail sales, and retail packaging/shelving, as well as general Front of House tasks. Training will be provided as/when needed. We are advertising this position as our current staff is returning home for family reasons. We aim to start work in 2-3 weeks. The function can be either temporary or long-term. The ideal candidate should ideally: » Have previous practice in Hospitality/Service and/or Retail Sales » Be well presented, professional and reliable » Possess good interpersonal and communication expertise » Be humble and work well in a small team » Be prepared to get their hands dirty (dishes don't wash themselves!) » Be reliable and have a positive, can-do attitude this function would suit someone who is hands-on, switched-on, and who has practice - or someone less practiced but who is motivated and willing to learn.
