About our group
prosperous candidates will join our project community and be located within the Resourcing Group who deliver operational funding and staffing entitlements to nearly 2,500 schools. We administer annual payments of approximately $5.8 billion to Schools and Kura.
Our group provides provide high quality advice and support to Schools and Boards of Trustees including as follows:
   » We ensure Schools and Early Childhood centres receive correct resourcing entitlements through our Monitoring programme
   » We provide resourcing operational policy advice and guidance and produce one-off solutions to resourcing issues
   » Our Resourcing Contact Centre also provides direct telephone and email support to Schools’, Early Childhood Centres and the general public.
About the function
We have a great, fixed-term opportunity for a Senior Adviser to join the Equity Index (EQI) Implementation team which is part of a Ministry-wide programme of work.
The EQI Implementation team are leading the transition and embedding of the Equity Index into operational delivery.
In this function, you will bring a strong background in thought leadership abilities and strategic advice. You will be responsible for making sure work is progressing on a day-to-day basis within our team and across the programme of work. The function is highly collaborative, so you will be required to form sound working relationships with colleagues and staff all over the Ministry.
this function provides core advice and support to ensure project development and its implementation are effective. This will include designing implementation solutions for new, or the review of existing programmes of work, producing one-off solutions to school resourcing issues, and advising and guiding others on implementation.
