Primary function: Working closely with your manager, you will be mainly responsible for the recruitment matters of the company from A to Z - i.e. posting jobs, communicating with external recruiters, proactively contacting potential candidates, arranging and/or conducting interviews, negotiating job offers, preparing on-boarding of new hires, etc. You may also be required to support other HR functions from time to time to ensure the smooth HR operations of the company. Duties and Responsibilities: » Design and implement overall recruitment strategy for the company, communicating with your manager and the management. » Consult with managers to check their hiring needs and specific job objectives/details. » Prepare and post job advertisements on career websites, social media (e.g. LinkedIn), and any other possible channels. » Source candidates through internal & external search and databases. » Screen resumes & cover letters to provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers. » Use recruiting tools like tests and assignments to assess candidates' skills. » Arrange and/or conduct interviews either online or offline. » Support the hiring team with innovative recruiting methods and a list of interview questions. » Contact new employees and manage the overall on-boarding process & documents. » Prepare new hire paperwork to meet the legal requirements in NZ, communicating you're your manager and the management. » Ensure to keep a complete record of interviews and new hires. » Stay up-to-date with recruiting methods and their trends, along with the understanding of labor market. » Attend job fairs and careers events to source potential candidates and boost the company's brand image. Qualifications and Experience » 2-3 years' experience in a recruitment coordinator or similar role (preferably in New Zealand) » Tertiary qualifications in HR is preferred. » Previous experience in a creative agency will be highly advantageous. » Proven track record of success in recruitment areas will be a plus. » Organizational & communication skills, time management, and attention to detail » Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills (advanced excel skills highly desirable) » A flexible approach to work but in line with the legal requirements & company policy Apply directly for this role located in Albany North Shore Auckland, email your updated resume to aridderhof@adecco.co.nz Adecco is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
