Human Resources ManagerLocation Rodney & North ShoreAuckland Job type Full Time Salary to Category Administration > Management » » » Are you a passionate HR Manager (People and Culture), looking for a challenge and with an understanding of HR, Finance and Strategic Planning practices? 1-year Fixed term position (with the view to go permanent) - Monday - Friday. To successfully perform this role, you will need to be agile and flexible with the ability to autonomously navigating your way through, managing a wide range of communications with various stakeholders within a fast-paced environment. Working closely with the Corporate Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall HR areas & process of the company - i.e. recruitment, compensation & benefit, evaluation, training & development, employee relations, cultural initiatives, etc. You will make sure to operate the day-to-day HR matters with excellence but will also support the Corporate Service Manager for better people strategy & planning. Duties and Responsibilities » In charge of general HR operations including but not limited to, recruitment, compensation & benefit, evaluation, training & development, employee relations, cultural initiatives, etc. » Support the Corporate Service Manager to make proper decisions on all people-related matters » Ensure policies and procedures meet legislative requirements for New Zealand Law and workplace best practices » Implement the company's HR policy & programs based on the global guideline and manage the actual process with the Corporate Service Manager » Ensure the on-boarding program for people is up to date and best practice at all times » Provide quality advice, guidance and recommendations for the Corporate Service Manager on a day to day basis including any legal related matters » Performance management and support and advise on best practice » Implementation of organizational change including restructures » People Value and Recognition Program management » Lead L&D plan and training programs » Manage the operations of recognition program, training programs, cultural initiatives, etc. with proactive communication with the employees » Ensure health and safety at workplace is maintained for all people » Maintain HR documentation & data (online & offline) up to date in line with the global system » Ad-hoc tasks related to People & Culture of the company Attributes and Qualifications: Qualifications and Experience » At least 5-7 years' experience in an HR generalist role (preferably in New Zealand) » Tertiary qualifications in HR is required » Previous experience in a creative agency will be highly advantageous » Demonstrated success in ensuring the excellent operations of all HR areas » Organizational & communication skills, time management, and attention to detail » Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills, advanced excel skills highly desirable » A flexible approach to work but in line with legal requirements & company policy Package benefits will include: Competitive remuneration package including company benefits.
