This is an outstanding opportunity for an practiced hands-on Finance Manager to support a unique SME services business, that is part of a global organisation that provides mission-critical electronic services and technology.
Requirements We require a passionate, detailed focus and resilient Finance Manager to manage the financial accounting function. Whilst this is the NZ and AU division of a global business, this is a vital function working with a small but highly collaborative team, that interacts with the international head office daily. This is a two-year fixed-term appointment due to organisational change with a preferred start date in March 2021 and would require a minimum of 40 hours per week, and hours of work will need to be flexible as the HO is located overseas. Key Responsibilities This key accounting-focused function works closely with the regional General Manager and will perform all aspects of the finance function, including all compliance requirements for the company. You will be responsible for all core financial functions, and this is a busy day-to-day operational function. You will present a suite of timely and accurate financial reports and offering analysis and advice on the current financial position. Qualifications & practice » You will have a minimum of 10 years' practice as a Chartered Accountant in NZ, with proven practice in a similar function. » Possess sound knowledge of budgeting and business planning and knowledge of statutory reporting requirements. » Have the capability to lgain new systems, software, and procedures quickly and ideally practice with NetSuite would be highly advantageous. » With the capability to take the lead finance function, with excellent communication and management expertise. » Timely, accurate, and able to work under pressure and to tight timeframes. » Act with total confidentiality and integrity, possess a proactive and positive approach to work, take pride and ownership to deliver high quality, correct and timely services, and have a high degree of flexibility and excellence in judgment.
