Clinical Manager - Ready for a new challenge?Location All AucklandAuckland Job type Permanent Salary to Category Medical > Nursing - Aged Care » Mt Wellington location » 40 hours Monday to Friday » Relocation support available As a Clinical Nurse Manager with experience, you will lead the clinical team at our clients facility and inspire them to maintain their high standards. You will ensure that all clinical staff receive proper orientation and training to ensure a safe environment for residents. You will also ensure that their standards of care meet the Health & Disability Sector Standards. Your duties will include providing orientation and learning packages to new staff, completing all associated documentation and checklists, maintaining a database and waiting list professionally, completing all reporting requirements and clinical manager orientation checklists, training clinical staff in risk awareness and reporting procedures, and designing rosters to best use staffing and resources. The preferred qualifications for this position include 5+ years of aged care experience, relevant tertiary qualifications such as a Registered General Nurse, recent experience in clinical or management in a continuing care hospital facility, strong management and administration skills, people skills with empathy for the elderly and their families, and good written and verbal communication skills.
