We are offering a role in a residential aged care faciliity that is at an easy to get to location in Point Chevalier that has stunning grounds and truly amazing, dedicated and passionate people. This facility offers exceptional and innovative care and services. The role is a Maintenance Assistant role with a variety of duties: » Attend to all maintenance requests » Repair and maintenance of tools and workshop equipment » Grounds maintenance and rubbish/recycling collections » Assist with resident reloations » Incident or damage reporting and logging » Assist with daily job allocation » Stock and inventory As a successful applicant, you will offer: » Full drivers licence » Knowledge and experience using power and gardening tools and equipment » Ideally have a trade certificate » Ideally have first aid certificate or keen to get one » Attention to detail and great time management ability » Have a friendly nature, great communication and enjoy interacting not only with the staff but the residents and visitors » A good understanding of Health and Safety and safe work practices » Ability to be left to work on your own and get the job done. » Flexibility with attending to call outs when required Whats on offer - An option for a temporary assignment or a permanent role with a salary to $55,000 p/a + allowances for on call or call outs for week days and weekends.
