The role is a Maintenance Assistant role with a variety of duties: » Attend to all maintenance requests » Repair and maintenance of tools and workshop equipment » Grounds maintenance and rubbish/recycling collections » Assist with resident reloations » Incident or damage reporting and logging » Assist with daily job allocation » Stock and inventory As a successful applicant, you will offer: » Full drivers licence » Knowledge and experience using power and gardening tools and equipment » Ideally have a trade certificate, although no essential » Ideally have first aid certificate or keen to get one » Attention to detail and great time management ability » Have a friendly nature, great communication and enjoy interacting not only with the staff but the residents and visitors » A good understanding of Health and Safety and safe work practices » Ability to be left to work on your own and get the job done. » Flexibility with attending to call outs when required Whats on offer - An option for a temporary assignment or a permanent role with a salary to $55,000 p/a + allowances for on call or call outs for week days and weekends.
