The successful person will need to be strong and articulate, as working with several departments and pushing back on compliance can bring challenges. You need to be adept at dealing with issues, finding solutions, and escalating when needed. The role is based at Head Office in Mangere Bridge, but you can plan your week between the additional sites in Paerata and Avondale. The flexibility is yours to plan what works best for you. You would also bring to this role: » A minimum of 2-3 years experience within the food or manufacturing industry specifically with Quality and Operations » Auditing expertise » Good understanding of NZ legislative regulations » Science/Food Science degree or Dairy Diploma (desirable) » HACCP qualified » Best practices - continuous improvement, identification of issues » Advanced Excel skills » Exceptional written and oral communication skills » Technical, organized and ability to prioritise » Strategical planning awareness » Full NZ Drivers Licence » NZ Citizen or a Permanent Resident Personally you should be results focused, be able to use your initiative, have the desire to enhance your knowledge, and have a high level of courtesy and listening skills.
