We have a master plan for T?maki that is focused primarily on building 10,500 homes, and as part of their delivery, we will upgrade streets, parks and town centres, increase transport options, support schools and provide job opportunities. Our goal is to enable the people of T?maki, especially M?ori and Pasifika people, to reach their aspirations. Our focus is on empowering and enhancing the wellbeing of tangata whenua and tangata tiriti. We honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi as the founding document of Aotearoa and are embedding its principles into our decision-making.? We are seeking for a Tenancy Manager who will understand the heartbeat of the T?maki neighbourhood to support and supervise tenants from all walks of life. You must have a passion for people, and practice working alongside diverse communities & cultures, namely M?ori and Pasifika, who make up a large portion of T?maki. You will possess a high level of emotional intelligence and be culturally aware, knowing how to approach tenants and support them in a way that best suits their individual needs. You must be ready to go the extra-mile and be capable of doing the right thing in tricky situations. You will have strong verbal & written communication expertise, with the capability to be clear when delivering messages, managing tenant issues, and relaying information back to your team. You will proactively engage with tenants to ensure all tenancy, maintenance requests and related issues are addressed and resolved quickly. Part of your job will be to ensure tenant voices are heard by maintaining core relationship. Strong administration and organisational expertise are essential, keeping on the ball when liaising with MSD, government agencies and other service providers on behalf of your tenants. Great organisation expertise are needed to maintain tenant information, ensuring that information is accurate and timely. As part of this function, you will also conduct regular property inspections, address antisocial behaviour complaints that are set against tenants, and regularly review debtor lists, taking corrective action where appropriate. A current full and unrestricted driver's license is essential for this function.
