Machine attendant / assistantLocation Manukau & East AucklandAuckland Job type Full Time Salary 20 to 20 Category Manufacturing/Operations > Machine Operators » » » We are currently seeking assistant machine operators to assist in a paper manufacturing plant based in Penrose. This role offers a great opportunity for progression, with every verified skill level offering the potential for a monetary reward. Previous exposure to machine operating would be preferred, and candidates are required to have a proven track record of reliability in a previous role will be highly considered. The role involves: » Assist with the loading of the product into the machine. » Cleaning and maintenance of machines, product and work area. » Use of Conveyors, overhead gantries and other manual processes. » Preparing and packaging product for dispatch This role is very hands on and does require some manual handing of goods, therefore candidates must be physically able to lift up to 25kgs To be successful you must: » Able to provide two work references, » Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen » Have own reliable transport to site. Hours of work are weekly rotating shifts from 7.00am to 3.00pm first week, and 3.00pm to 11.00pm the second week. These hours are Monday to Friday and saturday overtime available with great benefits and long-term potential.
