Offer: Calf Rearer:Job description:Calf RearerPayment: Paid Position ($24)Job location: Tirau Region: Waikato/Coromandel practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 20/04/2022 We run a large calf rearing operation and are looking for two people to join our team on a 6 month fixed term contract starting 1st June. The first job would be helping in our calf rearing unit and the other job as an adjunct on our 300 cows dairy farm. If you love working with animals in a great team environment please send your curriculum Curriculum for us. The roster will be 11days on, 3 days off. We have a fully furnished, two bedroom farm cottage available for rent. This position involves all aspects of calf rearing including: » Feeding milk and meal » Sorting calves » Weighing calves » Moving calves » Drafting calves » Administration of animal remedies » Tagging Calves » Loading and unloading trucks » Setting up sheds and equipment » Cleaning up sheds and equipment And any other general farm work or other work as requested by the farm manager.
