Senior Policy Advisor RegionalJob location:Wellington Wellington Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »Remote working available » endlesssick leave »37.5 hour work week The Company This private sector client is on the hunt for their next Senior Policy Advisor, and are the leading independent rural advocacy organisation in New Zealand. Our clients aim is to add value to the business of farming for our members and encouraging sustaincapability through good management practice. They look after their staff with endlesssick leave, additional gifted days of leave each year so you will always have your birthday, Christmas and New Years off work. Remote working is available and they have a structure 37.5 hour work week. What more could you ask for! The function this function is a permanent, full time function with a income ranging from $80k - $100k. I am seeking someone who can contribute towards policy analysis, submissions, advice and advocacy aimed at influencing the results of regional policy, particularly environmental policy under the Resource Management Act. About you You will need to have either practice or expertise of the Resource Management Act, be a team player and great at working autonomously. This is a varied team with a great environment and an office in Wellington (and other locations) if working in the house isn’t for you. If you have practice working on a farm (or growing up on one) and project management expertise that would be an advantage but not necessary.
