Eastwood caters to an eclectic bunch of customers - scientists, mountain bikers, tourists, and local Rotorua east-siders out for their everyday walk. A year and half since opening, we have morphed into a bustling all-day eatery, offering wood-fired pizzas, an inspiring brunch selection and delicious cabinet food. We also provide everyday catering for onsite meetings. Open 7 days from 8am – 3pm. And every Friday night for drinks and pizza. Our beautiful café space is popular for private events in the evenings. TERRACE AIRSIDE is our iconic sister café located at Rotorua Airport. The Cabinet selection & everyday lunch specials on offer here are prepared in the Eastwood kitchen and transported out daily. TA is open 6am to 6pm, 7 days. CAFE CHEF this function is well suited to a chef who enjoys the buzz of a busy kitchen environment, you should be efficient and very organised. Weekends are our busiest time, so we'll need your help on Saturday's and Sunday's. You will need sound expertise of various cooking techniques. You will be encouraged to have creative input in presenting fresh cabinet food and hotline menu items. We offer a great environment to lgain and grow as a chef within a progressive hospitality group. this function is full time (minimum 35 hours per week), remuneration offered will be located on your practice and qualifications. BAKER We make all our own breads and pastry items on site. this function assists with food preparation for our cafes and the catering department. this function can be part-time or full time. KITCHEN adjunct We're looking for part time KITCHEN adjunct/PREP CHEF to join our team. Approx 20-30 hours per week. this function is integral to a smooth operation, Information technology involves washing dishes, assisting with food preparation, packing equipment for offsite events, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, deliveries and more. You must be available to work weekdays and weekends. Day and evening (Saturday weddings) shifts available. You need a full drivers licence to fulfil this position.
