Are you a people person who loves to organise and keeps calm under pressure?
We are seeking for a venue coordinator to be the front face for Te Whaea's customers.
That's greeting and assisting our students, staff and customers working and studying on Te Whaea's vibrant tertiary campus; a high performance community hub in New Zealand's creative and cultural capital.
We're looking for someone full of energy, who is willing to help on a wide variety of requests, computer savvy, keen to promote what we do and happy to work on tasks from the fun to the most mundane.
You will be a key member of our small team, reporting to the office manager and providing support to our large venue for the creative arts including managing venue bookings
practice in reception and administration tasks is a must, venue or events practice is an advantage. Exceptional communication expertise an absolute requirement.
Te Whaea is New Zealand's National Dance and Drama Centre, home to Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School and New Zealand School of Dance, so this is a great job if you're a supporter of the arts. We host dancers of all genres, through to martial arts enthusiasts, classical musicians and more.
