Job Opportunity: Lecturer – Initial Teacher Education:Maori Pacific JobsJob description:Job DescriptionLecturer – Initial Teacher Education»Full-time permanent function located across campuses»function starts in February 2022 The School of Education Te Kura M?tauranga in the Faculty of Culture and Society, Auckland University of Technology, is a leading provider of education programmes at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels. We are pursuing a lecturer who can contribute to our Pacific speciality courses in the Bachelor of Education (Early childhood and primary teaching) and who brings an interest in courses related to Aotearoa New Zealand society. Current teacher registration with the New Zealand Teaching Council is a requirement and the prosperous applicant will be expected to visit and assess student teachers on practicum practices. This is a Permanent Position to support the delivery of School of Education programmes from the North Shore and South campuses. candidates should have a doctoral qualification, be research-active, and willing to make a significant contribution to the academic community of the School of Education.
