Background
This family-owned prosperous manufacturing business requires an practiced Management Accountant for a short-term contract to cover for the incumbent while on annual leave. Depending on your availcapability a one- or two-week handover will be available. Contract Details The focus of the contract will be on the BAU everyday and monthly activities such as costing and pricing of all products and new orders to ensure correct margins are applied, uploading stock data into the financial system, checking stock and WIP before month end, preparation of monthly management reports for Board meetings and adhoc analysis and reports of margins, turnover, customers etc as well as maintaining the integrity of the costing and pricing system. practice We are ideally looking for manufacturing sector practice that includes monthly performance analysis and reporting, product costing and pricing, WIP valuations, variance analysis and productivity efficiency. You will need strong MS Excel skills and be quick to pick up new systems (there is an internal SQL system for costing and eAccounts financial system) and have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
