Te ?huatunga a te t?ranga – About the function
Our Employment Relations team is seeking a remuneration expert to join our People practice team in a permanent, full-time function. The key purpose of the function is to work end to end across the remuneration function, partnering with key stakeholders across Te T?h? o te Ture to manage our job evaluation process, apply skills to complex issues, and provide advice to our leadership abilities teams.

You will be passionate about remuneration and analytics and appreciate the value of good reporting. We are seeking for someone who is able to work with large datasets (we have a headcount of approximately 4,700), and who can provide data-driven recommendations and significant insights.
Having a background in a large complex, unionised organisation, practice with Korn Ferry Hay job evaluation methodology, and excellent Excel and written skills are all advantageous.
You will be supported in this function by an practiced Employment Relations team, including a Principal Advisor, Contribution, compensate, and Recognition; and work closely with our People Insights data team.
To be prosperous in this function you will have:
   » demonstrated commitment to and respect for Te Tiriti o Waitangi as Information technology applies in the public service and the capability to incorporate this into your work
   » an knowledge and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns, in particular, knowledge of tikanga M?ori
   » a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or an equivalent qualification from a related field; or related significant practice
   » able to demonstrate knowledge of, or a availability to develop your capcapability in Te Ao M?ori and promote tikanga and Te Reo M?ori
   » proficiency in job evaluation systems
   » excellent knowledge and knowledge of current remuneration policy and practice and human resource practice and significant legislation in Aotearoa
   » proven capability to manage projects, work collaboratively, and deliver on time.

income range
The appointing income for this function will be between $84,366 and $110,172 located on skills and practice.
