The Reporting and Insights team helps ACC achieve its strategic results by providing insightful information that supports effective decision making. We achieve this by connecting data and business knowledge to understand what is happening, why Information technology is happening and what will happen if something changes. What you’ll be doing will include the following: » Engaging with customers to understand business needs and identify requirements for a solution » Work with large datasets, extracting, manipulating and analysing information, providing robust information to enable decision making within the business » Developing outputs such as dashboards and reports to present insightful information and advice » Contributing to work across different areas of the organisation » Manage multiple work requests at any one time, self-manage your workload and manage expectations with stakeholders The prosperous candidate will require the following expertise and practice: » A committed team player with a proactive attitude » Comfortable working with complex and diverse data with proven practice in data analysis, manipulation and presentation. » Good data visualisation and storytelling expertise and the capability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences. » practice in data preparation and management. » An appreciation of data science. » capability to think conceptually, and to translate new and emerging ideas into evidence-located insights and analysis. » A good knowledge of statistics. » A strong knowledge of data, databases and analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python Working at ACC We know that a diverse and inclusive team helps us meet the needs of our customers, and we welcome candidates from every ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, age, and those with a discapability or who have additional mental health needs.
