With ACC, you’ll be supporting people in Aotearoa to stay safe by minimising the incidence and impact of injury, as well as helping them recover from injury if an accident does happen. We have a great opportunity in this newly created function. As our M?ori Health Services Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the continuing design and delivery of services and programmes that will help ACC to better deliver on M?ori customer needs.
this function will be focussed on supporting a portfolio of work being delivered to improve M?ori health services, to address equity issues that exist for M?ori, and deliver improved results for M?ori.
Some of the important mahi you will be involved in include the following:
   » Working to embed cultural safety for new contracts and service delivery
   » Engaging with and supporting our providers to understand equity issues that exist for M?ori within ACC, and supporting them to evolve their service offerings to include M?ori health choices, and improved kaupapa M?ori services
   » Support the implementation of M?ori health and other kaupapa M?ori services across the organisation
   » As our operational subject matter expert, you will support the wider organisation in relation to M?ori health services
What We are seeking for from you to be prosperous in this function:
   » Similar and significant practice in M?ori health
   » Demonstrated practice in service commissioning
   » practice or knowledge of wh?nau-centred approaches, programmes, and delivery
   » Good knowledge of te reo and tikanga with a deep knowledge of M?ori culture and values, as well as strong iwi networks
   » Strong senior level stakeholder management, with demonstrated practice influencing decisions with continuous improvement approaches
   » Excellent verbal, written and presentation expertise, and the capability to connect with your wider wh?nau, iwi and communities
We are a growing team led by dynamic and passionate M?ori leaders, this function will report to the M?ori Health Manager who reports to the Chief Clinical agent & Head of Health Partnerships.
