Our Bachelor of Teaching students need a passionate Lecturer | Kaiako (Pacific) to assist them to become confident and professional early childhood teachers. Put into practice your enthusiasm for teaching adults while using your expertise and practice to inspire student teachers to uphold their responsibilities arising from Te Tiriti o Waitangi through their teaching and learning. Work as part of a collaborative vibrant team of Lecturers | Kaiako located all over Aotearoa who share your commitment to a Pacific and bicultural early childhood curriculum. You will have the following: » practice or strong interest in teaching and mentoring adults at tertiary level » Teacher registration, essential » practice in eLearning, particularly desirable » Have expertise of Pacific ways of knowing doing and being » A commitment to growing bicultural practice » A Masters degree in ECE or significant discipline, or engagement in post-graduate ECE study is desirable » Strong community networks » Excellent interpersonal and organisational expertise » A current full driver's licence and vehicle for work use Work within a collaborative team at the Manukau Regional Education Centre.
