The team leader's main responsibility is to make sure that daily operational requirements are completed quickly and economically. Key Responsibilities » Lead the Shift team to ensure that resources are correctly allocated to deliver on Key Performance. Key measures include DIFOT, waste %, OEE, giveaway, line utilization, productivity, and complaints per million » Mentor and develop Shift Supervisors » Deliver high-quality finished products by ensuring compliance to all Food Safety Systems, and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner » Oversee hygiene of the plant » Ensure all measurement systems are implemented and maintained as required to meet the changing needs of the business » Ensure all reporting requirements are supplied in an accurate and timely manner » Manage the shift production team » Elevate issues relating to SHE, Quality, and delivery in a timely manner, utilizing agrees processes. » Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives as outlined in the site roadmap. » Develop, introduce and maintain visual workplace KPIs production line teams. To be successful in your application, you will have: » 5+ years of manufacturing experience in the food industry » 2+ years established leadership of a mid-sized team » Food Technology, Engineering or Science degree (desirable) » Exposure to Quality Assurance and Food Safety Systems » Proven track record in people management » A great attitude towards health and safety » Ability to drive performance » Effective communication skills » SAP and computer navigation experience Don't miss out on this opportunity.
