This varied function reports to the Operations Manager, tasks as follows: » Ensuring regular maintenance is carried out on all machinery and plant equipment – adhering to production plan, also buildings and grounds maintenance » Rectify and repair machine or ancillary equipment breakdowns » Assist with new equipment commissioning and project work where required » Ensuring the toolroom facilities and equipment is kept tidy and organised » Communication (internal and external – eg Factory and Operations Managers, to customers and suppliers) » Computer use » Waste recycling » Health & Safety You » Trade certificate qualified in fitting and turning or equivalent » Several years maintenance practice preferably in a manufacturing/production environment » practice with automated production equipment advantageous » Excellent attention to detail » Organised and tidy work ethic » Exceptional fault finding and problem-solving expertise » capability to work unsupervised » Project management expertise desirable, but not essential Offer » A very competitive income » Excellent hours ie 9am to 3pm » Great team environment where you can grow and develop » Excellent company culture committed to its employees » A very clean environment, reflecting high quality standards » Job security as ‘essential services’ – functioning all over all Lockdowns » Onsite parking etc Interested!
