Education Infrastructure Service (EIS), a part of the Ministry of Education, manages the Crown’s second largest property portfolio of around 2,100 schools with a book value of $19.6 billion, the largest payroll in the country, and transportation of over 100,000 students to and from school each day.

About the function
It’s an exciting time here at the Ministry of Education and We are seeking for an practiced Programme Coordinator with a solid background in coordination and planning to join our exciting new programme within our group as we embark on major transformation.
this function will be focussed on superviseing the implementation of transformational work to help improve the way the Ministry plans and invests in infrastructure. Information technology underpins how the Ministry will meet the Government target of all schools providing quality learning environments by 2030.
The Programme Coordinator provides efficient and effective co-ordination planning and documentation, data management, and administration to support the Property Delivery Group to deliver services and manage projects.
About you
We need a smart and savvy super star who can translate new frameworks and concept designs into practical operational tools, processes, systems and reporting.
You will offer the following:
   » Previous practice providing administrative/coordination support in a project or programme environment
   » The capability to make sound decisions within short timeframes, be adaptable and use initiative
   » Procurement process/practices knowledge/practice
   » Certificate or proven practice in Project Co-ordination or similar
   » Previous practice coordinating meetings, including scheduling meeting times, taking accurate minutes, preparing agendas, organising travel, catering etc
   » Intermediate reporting and analysis capability
