An exciting opportunity in a dynamic Crown entity awaits the right candidate for two-year fixed term Kait?tari K?kihi (Graduate Analyst – M?ori) in Ahuahu Kaunuku (M?ori health results) team in the Health Quality and Safety Commission.
The Commission is committed to ensuring that M?ori health equity and advancement knowledge and capcapability is embedded across the organisation. The M?ori health results team’s purpose is to ensure that the Commission plays its part in the healthcare system to accelerate M?ori health results.
The prosperous candidate will be focused on three key Job responsibilities:
   » To build knowledge and knowledge about the health and discapability system in Aotearoa, New Zealand
   » Develop knowledge and knowledge of the health equity issues faced by M?ori health consumers and their wh?nau including implications for quality and safety of services
   » Build knowledge and expertise through the use of healthcare quality data and analysis and contribute to the work of Ahuahu Kaunuku and Health Quality Intelligence
You will be working with Senior Advisors on programmes and projects relating to M?ori health equity. This includes working with senior advisors to provide high quality advice to the Executive Senior leadership abilities team as well as senior data analysts on data management, data collection, collation, analysis, presentation, visualisation, and reporting to support the work of Ahuahu Kaunuku and Health Quality Intelligence.
The Commission has a strong focus on M?ori health advancement and reducing inequity, and the prosperous candidate will contribute to these goals.
