Are you currently working as a Bid Manager/Writer and currently looking for the next step in your career?

We are currently on the lookout for a superstar Bid Manager to join our client who specialises in Construction and Infrastructure throughout New Zealand. You'll become part of a supportive New Business team and wider bid community that encourages and supports growth and learning, working across an organisation where the opportunities are limitless.

Our client has many exciting opportunities ahead to help to reimagine and transform New Zealand for future generations. They work collaboratively with our customers to support their infrastructure and services needs as they tackle aging assets, regulatory reform, climate change, new technologies, and changing consumer behaviors.

You may already have experience working in the bid space, or perhaps you have a delivery background with a proven knack for devising strategies and solutions, then working with others to present these in a compelling way to optimise client and business outcomes. Our client is particularly keen to talk to you if you have experience in successfully positioning for and bidding local road corridor and state highway maintenance contracts.

As part of our team you will:
   » Take an active part in pursuing, pre-positioning, and winning road and state highway maintenance contracts and projects in our communities across New Zealand
   » Make a significant contribution to winning strategy and tender development
   » Work closely with our operational and delivery teams, and as part of our wider New Business function and bid community
   » Grow your tendering career working with high performing teams
   » Be part of a fast-paced and exciting environment where no two days are the same.To excel as part of our collaborative, forward-thinking Transport team you'll bring:
   » The ability to successfully lead diverse teams through the bid process, to optimise contributions from across a wide range of expertise and experience

   » A collaborative approach to work across bid and delivery teams to devise and capture our solutions in a cohesive and compelling way - to influence outcomes and win work
   » A creative and innovative side, along with the ability and confidence to challenge and extend thinking
   » Excellent written and verbal communication skills
   » A track record of being an enthusiastic team player with excellent time management skills along with meticulous attention to detail.
