This is a well-funded developer with an impressive build programme ahead,
They have resource consents for 13 years worth of work across several projects including major terrace housing, apartments, and townhouse developments plus commercial office build projects across Auckland's North and South.
They are now looking for a commercial construction Senior QS/Commercial Manager to supervise commercial operations and work with the Board to ensure the financial vicapability of projects
The function will cover:
   » Tender estimates, pricing and review
   » Review contract clauses with sub-contractors
   » Project protocol set up
   » Review variations RFI's, progress claims and payments
   » Cost management and monitoring of projects
   » Preparing cost reports for the Board
   » Work closely with Project Managers for progress
   » Build train and developer a team
Commercial construction quantity surveying practice of at least 10 years is essential from a main contractor together with a tertiary quantity surveying qualification. practice with major housing developments would be advantageous. Your cost management expertise and commercial acumen are excellent with proven results in increasing profitcapability on projects. practice in pre-contract work would be highly beneficial. You work well within a team environment and thrive on the pressure that construction projects bring.

The remuneration package is highly competitive and commensurate with practice, $160K - $180K and will include a  fuel card, laptop and phone.
