On behalf of our client, you will play a vital role in our production process. You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery to produce complex and precise components. The successful candidate will work with a variety of materials and collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
   » Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand machining requirements.
   » Set up CNC machines, including loading tools and materials, and calibrating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
   » Write, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software to achieve precise dimensions and tolerances.
   » Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
   » Conduct thorough inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments.
   » Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
   » Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
   » Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
   » Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role, with a track record of producing high-quality components.
   » Proficient in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
   » Strong programming skills with expertise in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX, etc.).
   » Familiarity with a wide range of materials, such as metals, plastics, and composites.
   » Solid understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and machine setups.
   » Ability to operate and troubleshoot CNC machinery effectively.
   » Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing accurate work.
   » Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
   » Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry advancements.
   » High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant training is a plus.
