Systems EngineerJob location:Wellington Wellington Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »Permanent function - $80k-$120k »Small, agile, and friendly Team »Exposure to data-driven innovative projects The function • Public Sector client looking for a Systems Engineer to join their growing Team. • Help design, develop, and deploy, new capabilities, via user stories and acceptance criteria. • Work closely with the Senior Systems Engineer and wider team to develop innovative solutions, whilst ensuring the data integrity within the business, whilst ensuring the data integrity in our Data Infrastructure. • Collaborate with key stakeholders to help contribute to the design and delivery of fit for use solutions and products. Benefits • Competitive income package • Wellbeing, Health, and Wellness support • Internal development and progression opportunities expertise & practice • practice as a Systems Engineer or similar, within an Enterprise Scale environment is preferred. • Proven practice with Complex distributed systems, Information technology operations in an Always-Up, Always-Available service environment. • Able to demonstrate effective management of change, incidents, and other work items, to deliver prosperous results. • Working practice with Infrastructure as Code application/service deployments, both Cloud and On-Premises, Load balancing, networking and routing. • Working practice in the following is preferred - • Automated deployment of Cloud APIs, preferable in Azure. • Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar • Git branching strategies • Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, • NGINX, or similar, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar. • practice with one or more of the below is desirable - • R-programming language and operating environments • SAS 9.4 and SAS programming, and SAS Enterprise Guide How to Apply?
