In this newly created function as our Programme Lead – Preventable you will be responsible for the leadership abilities and overall accountcapability of the Preventable work programme and one of our biggest social marketing campaign’s Have a hmmm
With ACC, you’ll be supporting people in Aotearoa to stay safe by minimising the incidence and impact of injury, as well as helping them recover from injury if an accident does happen. ACC injury claims across Aotearoa have been increasing at a rate that is out of step with our population growth. To help address this we have developed Preventable a national behaviour change programme that challenges us all to take action to avoid injury and keep ourselves and whanau safe from injury.
As the Programme Lead – avoidance you will be responsible for the leadership abilities and accountcapability of the Preventable work programme, including the preparation of, and prosperous planning and delivery of an integrated roadmap. In this position you will work closely with various internal functions and stakeholders to ensure all activities are integrated and aligned to ACC’s vision of an Aotearoa New Zealand, free from injury.
This is a major social marketing campaign for us, and we are in the early stages of proof of concept. We need someone to take the reins and lead this game changing campaign to the next level.
In this function you will possess the following:
   » Provide leadership abilities, oversight, and delivery of the Preventable campaign
   » Work closely with internal and external stakeholders building strong relationships
   » Lead stakeholder engagement externally and across all contributing ACC functions
   » Deliver an integrated roadmap of programme delivery
   » Working in close partnership with ACCs media team you will be our public spokesperson across Injury avoidance, undertaking tv, radio and online interviews
To be prosperous you’ll need the following:
   » Proven practice in developing social marketing and behaviour change models, strategies and programmes
   » practice as a media spokesperson in a complex organisation including TV and radio appearances
   » Strong project management skills
   » A good knowledge of the media environment, communications, and marketing strategies
   » practice in designing from inception and delivering programmes with a strong focus on planning, organising, and delivery plans
   » practice engaging with a wide variety of stakeholder groups and the capability to build effective working relationships
   » The capability to manage multiple competing priorities and activities simultaneously
