Scenario:
Be part of a national sector-wide transformational programme with major changes to the sector's structure and operating model, with the significant flow-on benefits to be realised. With the focus on amalgamation across districts and regions to improve efficiencies by centralising resources and functions to improve productivity that supports this critical national sector service.
The Opportunity:
A unique contract opportunity has arisen within a Capital Programme focusing on equipment management, for an practiced Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Project Manager to plan and identify the stakeholder groups and the engagement activities required to support a future operating model, that will transition into a centre-led function to create tools to support productivity and efficiencies. Equipment planning requires strong internal relationships to assist with deployment, delivery and operational functions.
You will be responsible to identify the scope and requirements for an advisory group/s, work to identify how effective relationships across a wide variety of Stakeholders can be developed and requires engaging with senior stakeholders across multiple agencies who contribute important and valuable information, products and services, towards building a future state.
Criteria:
Therefore, you will need practice as a Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Specialist or Project Manager in an area of a business, having developed and planning Stakeholder Engagement frameworks; with tertiary qualifications in a significant field, along with the capability to create and facilitate workshops, understand capital programmes and preferably have a clinical background. You will possess a high level of written competency across a range of channels, be able to produce effective engagement messages and ideally have worked within politically sensitive public sector environments.
You will possess excellent project management and communication expertise, written and verbal presentation expertise, great problem-solving expertise, strong attention to detail and about to work under pressure to tight timelines, excellent interpersonal expertise for building relationships with senior leaders, and availability to interact, contact and consult with a wide variety of people, and can work effectively with ambiguity in a change and complex environment.
