The Service Design team within Regulatory Services are looking for an Operational Policy Analyst who can take the big picture legislation/regulations and implement them into an operational context. The Analyst will focus to inject knowledge of operational issues and perspectives to influence the development of regime and system policy, legislation, and budget bids.
The Service Design team has a focus on all operational policy procedures across gambling regulations and the Analyst will work on the key projects in the team. this function requires someone who can provide leadership abilities of operational analysis, business improvement and change. Engagement capability is a must, specifically to articulate complicated legislation/regulations to a variety of staff.
The prosperous applicant will have a background in policy implementation, business advice and service design with an knowledge of legislative/regulatory change. They will be able to navigate through complex stakeholder engagements and make sure the strategic and operational priorities are well understood. this function requires a thought leader, subject-matter and technical expert who can provide coaching and mentoring to other staff.
Working with others, they will have a delivery focus on effective and efficient regulatory operating models; advice that identifies emerging trends/technologies; fit-for-purpose, operational regulatory procedures and processes; progressive regulatory products and tools; pragmatic and use-friendly guidance, standards, rules and codes of practice.
