We are seeking a technical glazing expert with strong operational experience to lead our clients Retrofit Glazing team in Grenada North, Wellington. The Role Based in our clients Wellington branch you will manage all aspects of glazing operations and oversee the day to day management of glazing projects, including; building relationships with customers and providing coaching / mentoring to the Glazing Managers and Supervisors to ensure the successful on time / in budget delivery of projects. Ultimate accountability to ensure that all glazing service delivery is; of high quality, completed on time at minimal cost, consistent with engineering specifications, aligned to the building code requirements and in accordance agreed contract schedules. » People Leadership and Management » Resource Management and Development » Glazing Operations and delivery of projects » Monitoring and reporting of monthly forecasting and labour cost » Project and Service Delivery » Safety and compliance Candidate Specification: » Proven track record as a project or contracts manager in the construction industry » Technical glazing knowledge (Trade certified preferred) » A sound understanding of NZ building code, contract law and construction standards » Solid business acumen and commercial prowess » Ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships at all levels » Well-honed influencing and negotiation skills » Strong leadership and people management skills In return for your desire to tackle any challenges that come your way, our client offers a great team and working environment, coupled with a competitive remuneration package that includes health insurance cover and the opportunity to work for a leading nationwide company.
