To be prosperous in the function you need to bring leadership abilities practice, be resilient, flexible and be a pro-active person preferably with a social services background, ideally with previous practice working in a residential environment.tasks this function leads a team of Residential Youth Workers who together effectively implement the integrated model of treatment; maintain residential routines and engage high complex needs youth in programmes and educational activities.At times some of the work can be quite challenging so you will need to have resilience and passion for working with youth, be a flexible person with a positive attitude and exhibit the capability to build strong professional relationships with young people, whanau/families, staff and service providers.
