Job Opportunity: Kaitiaki:Maori Pacific JobsJob description:Job DescriptionKaitiakiJ ob Number:WAI20577 The details: Fixed term till June 2022 (will then be reviewed), 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE) About the position Waikato DHB is seeking Kaitiaki to work in our hospitals. You will be joining our team of Kaitiaki who provide cultural support and advocacy for M?ori patients and wh?nau who journey through our hospitals. The Kaitiaki function supports the individuals hauora needs, wh?nau need, facilitates access to services across the hospital and advocates for a safe mana enhancing transition out of the hospital and back into the community. This work will embrace M?tauranga M?ori and Te Ao M?ori to be effective for our M?ori community and fulfil our Te Tiriti obligations.
