Technology People Leader

As a Technology People Leader, you will be responsible for a group of people with a broad and diverse range of skills and practice, focusing on their development and wellbeing, ensuring they get the support they require, and that their care is balanced with delivery.
As a Technology People Leader, you will be responsible for
   » Being an advocate for people's safety, welfare, and health
   » Coaching, mentoring, and supporting people to reach their potential
   » Playing an active function in shaping culture
   » Collaborating with other People Leaders and Technology Delivery Leads to develop workforce plans
   » Leading recruitment, on-boarding, and induction
   » Ensuring all required financial and people records are maintained for compliance and audit purposes
   » Leading and facilitating performance improvement processes for individuals
skills you will bring to the function
   » Previous practice prosperously leading large teams in a complex, changing environment
   » A thorough knowledge and knowledge of technology capabilities, preferably in the Government context, and how they work prosperously to enable value delivery
   » A strong knowledge of Agile at an enterprise level and the function that each capcapability plays in a high performing team
   » An knowledge of the New Zealand Employment Relations environment
   » Strong leadership abilities and people management skills
   » Proven capability to build an effective team culture
   » Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
   » practice in end to end recruitment
   » High levels of resilience and adaptcapability
   » practice in negotiating constructive results in complex environments with competing priorities.
