The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of New Zealand's largest Information technology groups and be the motivational force that empowers our people leaders to meet delivery goals and increase product capabilities and services to our clients.
The Improvement Systems and Technology (IST) team continues to grow capacity and capcapability and We are seeking for enthusiastic people to help us continue the journey; supporting and leading change in our agile fast-paced environment.
We are seeking for a Senior Developer to work with our IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) and/or Operational Decision Manager (ODM) products. The functions sit within our Rapid Deployment team which builds and maintains systems of innovation that support our staff deliver services to our clients.
Collaboration and Resilience are key. This is an evolving environment, where you must be adaptable and able to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities.
MSD has adopted scaled agile (SAFe) across the organisation.
These functions will develop and enhance our existing portfolio of BPM and ODM applications.
Deliverables:
   » Develop, maintain, and test, new and current business process solutions, including integration services
   » Evaluate and design technical solutions with Rules Management tools
   » Write and modify application code located on requirements
   » Work with the team to analyse and develop new applications or enhance existing ones
   » Create technical specification for new applications.
   » Understand requirements to write efficient application code.
   » Review application issues, investigate incidents and problems, and provide solutions to resolve these
   » After-hours support as required
If you have previous practice in the following areas, please highlight this in your application:
   » practice with IBM BPM or ODM (and Rules framework implementation, WODM or JRules / ILOG, Decision Validation Services)
   » practice in end to end BRMS located systems integration and customisation
   » practice with the following supporting technologies – IBM WebSphere, Web Technologies, J2EE, Java, XML, SOAP, Rest Webservices, Javascript
   » practice implementing IBM FileNet P8, IBM Datacap and IBM Content Navigator solutions
   » practice with RPA tools
   » Familiar with SQL coding
   » Strong detail, quality, and solution orientation
   » availability to work as part of an agile scrum team
   » expertise of Agile methodologies, with preference for SAFe
   » Strong believer in DevOps principles
   » Able to build sound relationships with stakeholders with excellent written and verbal communication expertise
   » Able to identify and resolve problems
   » Coaching and mentoring
   » Leading development effort in a team
   » Vendor and stakeholder management
   » Applications design
   » leadership abilities in the use of contemporary development techniques, tools, and artefacts

income range: $97,374.00 – $119,012.00
