About this function Springload has a collaborative, diligent testing and quality assurance practice. We're looking for a Test Lead who can nurture the practice with authentic leadership abilities and mentorship. The ideal candidate will be comfortable facilitating 1-on-1s and team meetings, and able to communicate ideas with clarity and empathy. The Test Lead will also use creative and critical thinking to champion quality assurance across our projects. this function is best suited to full time at 40 hours per week, but we are open to the right candidate working a 32 hour week over 4 days. Requirements » Strong coaching and mentoring expertise to support and develop the testing team » capability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other teams and individuals, and create a sense that everyone contributes to the decision-making process » Strategic thinking and problem-solving expertise » Thorough knowledge of project management and software development methodologies » Issue management for large-scale projects » Broad knowledge of test principles, concepts and approaches » Test automation frameworks such as Cypess, TestCafe or Playwright » knowledge of API design patterns and testing tools like Postman » Knowledge of operating system and web browser features to introspect website behaviour, accessibility, performance and security Other practice we'd love: » practice with Business Analysis and writing user stories » Performance testing tools and approaches » Security testing tools and approaches » Familiarity with version control via Git, issue trackers, wikis, and pull request workflows » Good knowledge of CI/CD best practices » Familiarity with Content Management Systems or e-commerce platforms » Familiarity with Python programming » Mobile application testing Job description Download the job description for more details of what this job typically entails.
