They are seeking an accomplished and practiced Finance Manager who has broad practice across all aspects of the accounting and finance spectrum. About the function: Reporting directly to a CFO level person, this is an excellentopportunity to join this organisation in a key function where you can influence the accounting and finance function going forward. You will be part of the Executive Management team that will have influence right across the entire organisation. this function has a team of Management, Systems, and Financial Reporting Accountants reporting to it, so needs the technical capcapability as well as strong team management capcapability. Criteria: Mandatory is an accounting qualification, as well as being tertiary qualified in a significant field - accounting or business studies. Because of the level of the function, we would anticipate that you will have held some sort of financial management position previously where you have managed a team of five or more, for a period of at least five years. You'll also need to have exceptional team management capcapability, excellent communication expertise due to the nature and complexities of stakeholder interactions, and strong strategic as well as day-to-day practical thinking. You'll have had practice in a multi-cultural environment and be adept at handling any of these issues as they arise.
