The two day festival, staged in the Cuba Street precinct has become one of the Wellington region's iconic events. In its sixth iteration, CubaDupa 2021 was attended by an estimated 150,000 people, with 500 performances, 20 parades, and 50 stages and creative zones. The Operations and Production Management of the festival is integral to its success, through the presentation of artists, delivery to stakeholders and the safety of our audiences. We are pursuing individuals, partnerships or businesses interested in being a part of the creative team to lead the planning and delivery of operations and technical production for the CubaDupa 2023 and beyond. Operations Responsibility for Site logistics, planning and implementation, Health and Safety planning and management, Traffic and Waste Management including Sanitation, Security, Communications and Recruitment, scheduling and management of Site Crew and Suppliers. Production Responsible for all CubaDupa production requirements including, Outdoor Stages and Performance Areas, Audio, Visual and Lighting, Power Distribution, Visual Arts Installations, Site Decor Delivery, Backstage Infrastructure, Stage Management, scheduling and management of Production Crew and Suppliers. this function could be combined into one contract to deliver full Operations and Production, or undertaken as separate contracts.
