Cleaners and reception or odd jobs to help out are all available. Wanting 1 or 2 people. Couples welcome. This is a great option for travelers who want to practice living and working in a hostel. Wanting 1 or 2 people. Couples welcome. There will be plenty of time to see Christchurch or get other paid work. Cleaning. This is a function where you will live and work onsite and help out housekeeping for only approx 9 -12 hours per week. Work is usually between the hours of 10:00 and 11:45 (sometimes a bit later if we have lots of checkouts) or Reception/Cleaning. Work up to 9 - 12 hours per week per person during the morning. or Evening Reception "Babysit a hostel". ( Average 9-12 hours per week per person) This shift may require you to be on call for emergencies (sleep is allowed!!), with some light cleaning tasks. or Painting. 12 hours over a few days. You would need to have done painting before. Pay $21.20ph +8% holiday tax. This is deducted to pay for your accommodation. Other benefits include Free Wifi, weekly laundry money, and the use of our staff bikes.
