About our group and team
Reporting to the Business Support Manager, you will be providing support to different teams and functions within the Ministry or collaborating with other team members to deliver shared services. The team plays a vital function in contributing to and achieving the Ministry’s overall goals.
About this function
Senior Support agents work closely with various learning support and education teams in the ministry and provide administrative support for key portfolios. The range of activities they undertake include processing of portfolio applications, managing the correspondence of shared mailboxes, creating and updating portfolio tracking sheets, data entry and validation, data analysis, communication via phone calls and emails with the public, sector and internal staff, payroll administration for support workers and finance support and invoicing.

   » Excellent time management and planning expertise to enable you to respond to changing needs and priorities and to ensure deadlines are met
   » Excellent attention to detail
   » Superb customer service mindset
   » Solid written and oral communication expertise
   » capability to work closely with team members and managers to help deliver organisational projects and tasks efficiently
   » Proficiency in Microsoft suite, in particular MS Excel
   » Previous administration practice is preferred

You are also flexible with a desire to learn. As this function is part of the Business Support team, Information technology is necessary that you are a strong team player.
