We are looking for an experienced Boiler Operator who will mainly be responsible for providing operational services for two utility industrial boilers providing steam to a process factory. Limited maintenance services will be required to maintain boiler equipment. The company will offer a very good relocation package (up to $5k) for the candidate who is living outside Balclutha, and a company UTE will be provided. What you'll do: » Support and manage the quality control function within operations. » Perform frequent inspection checks and regular maintenance on boiler systems and related valves, gauges, piping, and other equipment » Inspect consumables, making adjustments, to keep systems operating at peak levels. » Record daily steam readings and other test results. » Ensure utilities operate to optimum safety, reliability, availability, cost, efficiency, and product quality at all times. » Participate in ash collection and disposal. » Carry out hands-on preventative and reactive maintenance. » Work with a Team of 4 What you'll need: » Minimum of 5 years relevant engineering/services operation experience » Enchem level 2 as a starter, Enchem level 3-4 as highly experienced » Former experience with boiler services » Experience working as a Plant Operator, Maintenance Technician/Engineer or Fitter » Forklift Licence and Chemical Handling certification an advantage » Experience with factory utilities » Full NZ Class 1 Driver Licence essential although Class 2 will be an advantage If you are a team player with excellent organisational skills and a good communicator we would like to hear from you.
